gunshop refusing to PPT non citizens either buyers or sellers

    Hello,
so it's really unpleasant what's happening to me.
Since 2018 I am having really an hard time to find a gun shop that will accept PPT because I am not a citizen neither I have green card.
I have all what is requited by law to sell or buy a gun between private parties:
    • passport with visa stamped on it
    • hunter license
    • I94
    • proof of residence in CA
    • CA Driver License

Now the only gun shops in the Bay Area accepting me are Bay Area Gun Vault in Mountain View and AAA in Vallejo.

Can all the other shops they do that ? the laws speaks in different way so they refuse to follow the rules.

I do not understand why they are doing that.

Any hints or anyone knowing the reason why ?
    thanks

Federal laws/regulations allows a FFL to refuse to transfer a firearm/ammunition, if the FFL believes the transfer may violate Federal or State laws.

If the FFL is not sure of how to transfer a firearm to an exempt non-immigrant alien, then they can legally refuse to do it.

It is incumbent upon the transferee to find a FFL that knows about and is willing to do a firearm/ammunition transfer to an exempt non-immigrant alien.

they know perfectly how to do it they did it last year several times and suddenly they refuse if you are not resident or citizen. They're just bothered to fill up a few more lines and copy a few more documents.
I Am sure if I Tell them I give you $100 for it, they'll do it.
So let's make a different question.
I am leaving the country, how I sell my firearms ?

Does your drivers license have a "federal limits apply" notation on the front?

no it does not have any "federal limits apply" on the front.
the only written sentence on the back says: "This license is issued as a license to drive motor vehicle: it does not establish eligibility for employment, voter registration or public benefits".

I am selling a 70 series colt. I sold several firearms and bought several of them through PPT in the past 2 years.

Are you going to be able to export anything you own and import it back home?

That’s an unfortunate situation, but since you know of two FFL’s that will work with you, I would simply insist on using those two FFL’s.

Oh. please you have a fake (i.e. not real ID) driver's license with Federal Limits Apply on it because you're not a citizen. Become a citizen then I'll cry some tears for you.

Great now you're advocating illegal bribery.
                      Just leave our nation already.
