Transferring was an easy process. My mom's boyfriend of 29 years recently past away and he had an arsenal. We sent in the form for a 22lr revolver (handgun that no one really wanted) as a test and just got approval notification from DOJ, so now we will start to transfer the other handguns. DOJ was actually very helpful and the lady I talked with told me to list my mom under the relationship block on the form as "life partner" and the how obtained block as "executor of estate." We also sent a copy of the death certificate which listed his address as the same as my mom's.
