Im not sure if im on the right forum for this question. But im currently a FL resident, about to transfer to san diego due to military orders. Ive read most of the post here regarding this and cant seem to find a definite answer regarding ar pistol (most ive seen are dated way back 2014).
So heres my question, can i bring my personally built ar pistol to california (already have fixed mag installed) legally?
I tried to ask ppl i know and they all gave me different answers. Even google only have answer about how to legally own ar pistol (as a CA residence).
One thing that makes sense to me is that since it is a pistol, california residence have to make from 80% because ar pistol is not in the roster. Now since im not a resident, that roster should not apply to me, right? Does that mean I can bring mine legally? Granted i have fixed mag installed.
I need help figuring this out before i move to cali so i know if i should just leave them here in fl or bring them with me. Your response is greatly appreciated.
