What would you have to do to make a Polymer80 Glock build compliant before July 1st?

I know you have to add :Name: City: State: and your own serial number, but then what?

Is that as far as you have to go on an 80% pistol lower?
Cant seem to find what I'm looking for. Am I just slow or in denial that is all that is required to be compliant with AB-857.

    No:
    DOJ?
    DROS?

    HELP!!!!

We don't know yet. The AB857 regulations are only a draft.

Well the OAL gave then the AW regs almost unmodified the second go round.
You know there was some arm twisting in that.

So with what is currently on the table and the knowing the MO: To mark or not to mark. IDN.

And with their history they might have to extend AB857.

        Either way I call BS.

How do you plan getting all that on a polymer 80 Glock, even assuming you have the later models with the embedded metal under the front rail?

I think the polymer ARs have a similar problem and I didn't see where they address it in the draft regulations.

Lacks caliber, and I don't see where you would put it. Also this looks like a laser and it might be hard to meet the ATF depth requirement.

The serial number plaque needs caliber?

Most everyone just puts Multi.. It also must be 1/16" high and to a depth of .003 inch.

Just curious, but would the caliber marking on the barrel be sufficient? Those are usually marked to ATF spec.

Nope needs to be on the firearm, thus the lower or frame. But again this is all best guess, the regulations are a total mess.

I do not believe ATF requirements need caliber. For my AR I did however include multi for the AW registration though so I could select interchangeable barrels.

This link states it can be on the barrel: https://www.atf.gov/firearms/firearm...ation-overview
