    Biting The Bullet

I've bitten the bullet and started to learn the "rules". I'm a tired old guy, so I'm not talking fun as if I were young. So a question (as I skip registration issues for a moment) can anyone give me a quick pointer as to where the rules are located that apply to reloading? Thanks in advance.

Rules? Are you asking if any part of reloading is against the law? Nothing is illegal regarding reloading for your own use.

Or just asking "how to reload" in general? There are many reloading manuals to learn from. You Tube has a lot of reloading vids that will help.

What I was asking is whether there are any statutes or regulations that apply to reloading and, if there were, if I could be directed to where they could be found. I did see a statute that troubled me (though it could simply be the onset of paranoia due to all the craziness I see in this whole mess).

What statute are you talking about?

I believe there is a regulation on how much powder you can obtain and/or own without a permit.

Unless you are reloading for resale I wouldn't worry about it.

I've reloaded over 40 years. Just learn how to do it safely. And enjoy the hobby.

Can anyone identify that regulation for me?

12001H&S is a California code. It allows up to 20 lbs of smokeless powder allowed in original containers.
