Selling a stripped Colt Modular Carbine factory lower with no Caliber stamped?

I searched and couldn't find an answer to this question. I have a stripped Colt Modular Carbine factory lower that doesn't have a Caliber stamped on the frame because it's a multi cal rifle.

What are the CA DOJ and Fed ATF regulations on selling just the stripped lower?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Question: If he said it was a "multi caliber rifle" hence is was a register as a long gun at some point how can you register it as a pistol? I thought once a rifle always a rifle on receivers.

Thanks for the replies but this is a specific questions about the receiver markings, not the classification of it.

It's a rifle but has no markings at all of the caliber on the receiver because the barrel states that. My question was if I went to an FFL with the stripped lower to sell and there was no markings of the caliber, could they not transfer it for that reason?
