PPT Question?

What are the rules for Private Party Transfers?.....Can one do as many separate Transfers as one wants? Or does one need to wait the standard 30 days?


For example: 3 separate PPT with 3 different sellers in the same day or within 30 days?

If you are not transferring in the City of Los Angeles, I am pretty sure you are good to go.
LA has a 1 in 30 for all transactions, most if not the rest of the state does not (yet).

Call the FFL you intend to use, s/b good.

im in the inland empire, but i guess what you guys are saying is, as long as buyer and seller are not using a FFL in Los Angeles for a PPT?

I would just be paying the DROS fees and paperwork 3 different times correct?

Correct, city of LA, county is still OK.

This part can get tricky, but I believe you can combine them into 1 set of fees for 3 gun transactions so 25 +10+10+10 if everybody is there at the same time and the FFL knows the procedure.

CGers, please clarify/correct as needed.
