How to check AW registration status?

Sorry if this has been asked many times before. I tried the search but couldn't find the answer.

I registered some rifles about 3 weeks ago and paid the registration fee of $15. I got an email receipt from CA DOJ as soon as I paid saying my transaction was complete. But no word on whether or not my registration has started or is pending or anything relating to the current status.

So in short, where can I check the status of my AW registration? I want to know if something was rejected or not, so I can correct it fast. Thanks!

Not really. You just wait about 2-4 weeks and you'll get a letter from Becarra himself!! No JK, just a registration confirmation

Log into CFARS, click CRIS. On the right will be the drop down menu.

Click “my CFARS account”

Click “my CRIS transaction history”

Make sure everything is “in progress” and NOT “incomplete”

If you have “incomplete” for 30 days, it gets rejected. Correct any “incomplete” requests

Time varies on how soon your letter will arrive.
