So I'm pretty sure Im legal, but just want to check before I add a normal Mag release to the rifles. Rifle is equipped with a VG6 Gamma, Magpul fixed stock, and Strike industries mega fin. Anything im missing or need to change before putting on a normal mag release?

Good to go.
Nice marble counter tops! -
I have gone featureless but have left my BB on with the red tool screwed in. Do we need to put back on the original mag release? There is so much published it is hard to sort what is real and what is FUD."Si Vis Pacem Parabellum"

I'd have to assume that when that happens it will be a breaking point for many and they will just pull all of their "evil feature" parts out of storage and slap them back on and say F it.We have too much to lose and so we'll lose it all - sd_shooterI try to frame my response to be useful to those observing, with little regard to convince the opponent of my awesomeness - EM2TRUMP/NUNESIt's hard to win an argument with a smart person, but it's impossible to win an argument with a stupid person - WhitefangComment

^^^^ This. I have 2 registered AWs, I wont be registering any more of my numerous featureless or fixed magazine SACF firearms. The featureless will get converted back and the fixed mags will get standard magazine releases. They will just all sit in my safe separated until I leave this ****hole. The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.Comment

Right!!! At that point it won't matter anymore, we will all be felons either way and regardless of what configuration we have!Comment

I would say to the OP that the only questionable item I see on the rifle is the muzzle brake. I think the jury may still be out as to what does or does not constitute a "flash hider". To be absolutely sure, until there is an honest determination of that, a thread protector is an option that can't be questioned. Or a linear compensator that has no side, top or bottom vents. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tactical-Lo...ss!95426!US!-1
Oh and for the OP, those fixed Carbine stocks are usually too short for most shooters, especially with optics like what's on yours. There is an easy, simple solution to that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7S8LwO7yy_U
I've done this mod on several of mine.Last edited by lapriester; 02-27-2018, 11:58 PM.Comment
