AW registration question

Hi Lorider,

if i may ask, why are you registering your rifle? is it an Assault Weapon?

if you DROS'ed a non-aw in ca before Jan/1/ 2014 then no need to register.

if you DROS'ed a non-aw in ca after Jan/1/2014 its already been registered.

if you bought a bullet button equipped rifle that is an AW due to SB880 it needs to be re-registered as an AW by June 30 2018

I bought a ak47 bullet button rifle that I don’t want to go featureless on.
It was bought pre 1/1/14, but due to SB880 it is now considered a Assult rifle.

Still stuck on what to put for date acquired and who I acquired from. I made an issue report in cfas but they have not responded to my question. Has anybody else had this issue? What did you put down?

Best guess? Did you pay with cash or credit/debit card? If it was the latter do some statement research and you will have the date.
