    AFAIK...

    One DROS per firearm.

One DROS fee when multiple DROS are done at the same time.
^CA FFL dealer can charge up to $10 per firearm after the first.

Two handguns = two DROS = $25 DROS fee + $10 dealer PPT fee + $10 additional firearm transfer fee ($45 total fees)

Two or more handguns within 5 business days also means FFL dealer must submit a report about the transferee to BATFE.
^Some FFL dealers don't like doing this and will discourage people from acquiring multiple handguns within the 5 day time period.

Did something change? I know I use to be able to DROS multiple firearms on the same $25 dealer record of sale. In fact, I just did that on 11-24-17.

The DROS system changed when they implemented long gun registration.

Since then, the DROS system only allows one firearm per DROS.

But, mulitple DROS can be submitted at the same time under one DROS fee.

It probably ends up with what the dealer wants. Turners has their procedures which are usually more involved than other dealers.
