70,000 guns registered in this period, antis claim victory. That's 5% of what they targeted for.
Interesting. And it seems to verify what most of us already assumed - that the PRA letter from DOJ that was posted in that other thread was only accounting for finalized registrations, not pending ones.

Californians have applied to register 68,848 additional assault weapons
    Librarian's bird was right.

Also interesting is this means DOJ has only made their way through about 20% of the submitted firearms.
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

I really doubt massive amounts of people converted to featureless or BBv2. They’re probably all felons. Maybe 70-80%?

At this rate they might not finish processing applications for several more years - and that's assuming they don't lay off the temp staff that DOJ was only supposed to keep through this summer. They might need to lay them off, considering AW registration fees fell about 95% short of the money that they borrowed using those potential fees as collateral.

Those who waited until June to register might be in for a veeerrrryyy long wait.

People who regd in may and June are getting letters. It doesn’t seem too bad aside from a few outliers.

Anyone waiting on a vanilla AR rifle with no kickbacks or joint filed before may?

Not surprising. The FOIA memos were worded in a weird way that people only thought 6k people registered their guns when in reality its all the DOJ had processed thus far.

I'm getting submission confirmation emails today for guns(80%s) I registered on 6/29. That seems to be good.

Where did these guys pull 43% up from? What does that even mean? I think they literally made that figure up, it has no metric to it whatsoever. Do they mean 43% up in the last month or something??
That is 68,000 more added to AW1 ~28,000 and AW2~ 165,000 and several little ones that added maybe 1,000. So before 195,000 or so I thought. This would mean only 35% more so maybe on the prior numbers there were several siezures or requests to de-register them.

Using their math there were 162,000 registered prior and not by my math from AW1 and AW2 registrations more than 190,000.

                GO FISH

Can someone give me the cliff notes and dates on AW1 and AW2? This is the 3rd CA AW reg?

I figured it out on 43%, they took the new amount 70,000 and divided it by the number in registry, so what they meant to say is that the registry went up in numbers by 43% of the old number in the registry.

                    Total at 230,000 now.

Still a joke when they predicted 1.5 million.

                      FYI

A few days ago I posted CRPA's statement about handling DOJ agent visits, should you get one:

I just found that FPC also put out a statement about how to handle it, which says basically the same thing but with a little more detail:

68k is the applications to register, not registered weapons. Only 6700 (plus some probably) registered so far.

$15 is anywhere from 1 gun to 1000 guns. Impossible to know how much money they took guessing. FOIA it.

got confirmation emails today but they said one is incomplete and here is what they said: "

I do not get what they mean by this because I said stock is pinned and cannot fold. The photos clearly show an under-folding AK so I am not sure what the problem is...I reported the issue and I hope to hear soon
