Starting a camo dipping business - Legal Question

I have been using these camo dip kits for some time now - www.camodiy.com and have been getting great results... so much so that I am now getting people wanting me to do it for them... my question is, do I have to have an FFL in order to work on someone's firearm in this manner?

AFAIK, if they wait while you do the work, no. If they leave the gun, definitely.

I may be wrong though. Someone will be along shortly to correct me if so.
    Sorry, not sorry.

Dear autocorrect, I'm really getting tired of your shirt!

That's what I've read on the internet too. Everything but the lower they can leave, though.
