Firearms policy coalition?

Interested to hear in order your lobbyist groups( for lack of a better term) that you would support. I recently donated to the firearms policy coalition and like what they stand for and the work they are doing. The NRA seems to have the power in DC but what about in CA?

NRA is the Big Dog in the fight nationally.

CRPA is same for Ca. And is the NRA affiliate here.

I'm not surprised that there IS such a thing... but this thread, is the first I've HEARD of them.

DOES reinforce the idea, that the NRA is THE B-I-G dog, in D.C. lobbying.

FPC is the only organization I've seen that has released videos of their attorney arguing our sides interest at the state capitol against anti gun bills.

and to be clear I am in no way pushing FPC, I was more trying to see where my money will be best served. I appreciate all the responses and will help make educated donations.

I just started skimming through that, and I was reminded of Brandon Combs, the wannabe Wayne LaPierre of the FPC, and I remembered the tantrum he threw here on Calguns and the big "F-you" he gave us all as he stormed off into the night. I wish I could remember what thread that was on. Was that the guy? Or am I misremembering or mistaking him for someone else?

Hard pass. I'll stick with the NRA and the CRPA. They're the Big Dogs in this fight for a reason.

Brandon took a hit to his contracting business during the recession. I met him as he was leaving ca to live with relatives. He was homeless with his wife and kids. Then all of the sudden fpc is created and he is the main employee. Hmmmm.

They are not initiating or subsidizing important and costly litigation.

LOL our old buddy Babbett... says it all but my mind was already made up. I follow the money and look for actual results and making a difference... GOA falls flat on its face by that measure every time I have actually read the 'accomplishments" on their website critically like an attorney would to see they do very little but ride the coattails of others.. and scream at the NRA.
