Bunker Hill Surplus Cancelled My Magazine Order

I placed an order for 2 Standard capacity Tactical Sport Magazines on April 3rd from Bunker Hill Surplus and received an order confirmation stating that I would receive a tracking number when the order shipped.

I never received a tracking number so called this morning to inquire about the status of my order. They simply stated that the order was cancelled and gave no reason for it. An email would have been nice.

I won't be doing business with them in the future.

Many shops have 1-3 employees.
Their systems don’t know how to deal with the super bloom of California orders


Many small shops also sell from other companies inventory

You buy from them and another warehouse delivers to them and they ship to you.

Normally not an issue.



I tend to cut a lot of these places a lot of slack when a bloom happens... after the school shooting under Obama, everything sold out.

If you ran a businesss out of your 3 car garage. You and your spouse shipping things out after work and you get 1,800 orders... how would you handle that?

They said they received 15 California orders and cancelled them all. I have had an on-line shop in a different industry for ten years and, a cancellation notification with a brief explanation is really easy to send.
