How many of us in this forum received shipping notification from them? 30?
Just need to chime in after seeing pages of posts about the shipping. This is a great thing that has happened to us California residents. However, we also have to ask ourselves if we do the same, when purchasing from online retailers in general.

For example, I'm hoping that most of us don't call online retailers shortly after placing an order, about when it will ship. Heck, I know I don't even contact retailers if my order has not shipped after a week.

For the above comment, I'm sure there is a lot of frustration. I'm certain you can package all the orders yourself, and much quicker. However, we are forgetting that tons of members/buyers here are constantly e-mailing, calling, and placing the business on blast. If I was in the same position, I wouldn't even know what to do or where to go. Should I disconnect my phone? Place an automated message? No clue.
Contact me if you have any Colt Pythons or HK P7 series. Cash ready.

I would bet that's probably it. Maybe see if they would drop those and ship the rest.

That's really just stating the obvious, isn't it? These businesses are already well aware of the situation. I'm glad if they'd rather spend their time processing and packing orders than answering a bunch of people telling them something they already know.

For the larger companies, sure, the person in your Brownell chat is a dedicated customer service rep, they're not the same person packing orders, but for smaller companies, every email and every call they have to respond to is just taking more time away from shipping product.

I do not think he was complaining. I think he was defending.

But i also think he was overestimating what an employee would be capable of.

I have worked a non automated online wharehouse for an insane rush. When everything you need is right there we could do that. But my guess is they are not optimized for speed but space. And we had 40 to 50 people

Are you close to any Ammo Bros in your area? They claimed they will have them in store this week. Check the thread they started in the Vendor section. Maybe worth a drive to one and try your luck.
