Hexmag's are huge pieces of sh-t. I have 3 AR's they don't work correctly in. The bolt won't always lock back and gets stuck on top of the follower Not because of short stroking) It's because of the play in the follower and thickness of the mag itself. The little finger that supposed to push down on the follower ends up stuck behind it. Never had issues with pmags, lancer, usgi, etc

I have 2 of their 10rnd mags. Didn't have other mags to test, but my issue was a dry bolt that needed breaking in

And ordered a few of their 30s because they were a bit cheaper than pmag. If every single mag was that horrible, they'd prob be out of business by now I'd think

I assume they're 30 rounders with an added piece to limit to 10. Break open and cut/ file/ grind the limiter off. Can't see why that'd be bad. I have 2, so thought that myself

Are you using Series 1 or Series 2? I've had no issues with Series 2 in over a dozen ARs.

Update on my order with Brownells being placed on hold.

So my order processed, got the email, and after processing it was placed on hold.

I called them this morning. Ten people in front of me and they answered my call within 3 min.....which is fantastic considering how busy they must be right now. They said there was no problem with my order and it was just the last update before shipping and it would ship today and they'd send my tracking number. I selected one day shipping so I'm hopeful to have a big box of freedom tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Brownells is processing orders really quickly. They do place the order on hold after the order confirmation is sent out but the order is not ready for shipping. The Brownells orders I made yesterday morning are already in CA and on the truck for delivery.

Still no word on my gunmagwarehouse order. I am tempted by the Black Dog 50rd .22lr drum on Bronwells but I want to see how my gunmagwarehouse order comes out before spending anymore money.

my other order with lanbo also haven't shipped too.

so at this point, i won't get my mags until next week when the stay may already be in place.

PSA:

I ordered this weekend and picked up in person today at Riflegear after they sent an email to me advising to come pick up if/before something changes.

Upon arrival, I was asked for my Driver's License by the employee prior to releasing the items I purchased over the weekend.

The employee then took my Driver's License into the back of the establishment for a few minutes before returning with the items I purchased.

I am now hearing from others that Riflegear has in fact coughed up customer information if asked by law enforcement.***

Just thought I would caution other law abiding citizens wishing to do business with Riflegear.

***I did NOT search this entire thread for any other customers of Riflegear doing this prior to release of merchandise so if it was already posted, my apologies.

If you placed an online order we already have all your information. If you don't know your order number we need a way to look it up and to verify that your name matches the order and/or credit card used for the order. This is the only reason I can think of why we would ask to see your driver's license, other than if purchasing a firearm. The only time we have ever turned customer information over to a law enforcement agency is if we receive a subpoena. I think your tinfoil hat may be screwed on a little tight.

I have already stated in more than one post on this thread about this very same transaction, I had my receipt in hand *with order number* which is what began the process to pick up my merchandise and being subsequently asked for my driver's license.
