Bell is endorsing Woo? Hope he's as CCW friendly as Bell?

I wish him the best of luck. Back injuries suck.

It's been a month since my interview. I hope this isn't whats holding it up.

People in Placer better step up and keep what they have because over the recent years lots of people from the Bay Area moved there and many are not 2/A supporters and instead just wanted to leverage high sales prices for BA homes to get bigger houses and larger properties.

They take their SF/Bay Area values with them and dilute Placer County. Start paying attention or Placer will suffer the same fate as some other counties. With each passing year, what is considered the Bay Area expands and those annexed areas become part of that mess.

The North Bay used to stop at the Marin/Sonoma county line and now look, even Santa Rosa is considered the north bay.

Complacency will overcome wishful thinking every time.

This is solid advice. Placer is expected to turn blue the next election. When that happens, the liberals from S.F will utilize elections to put pressure on the sheriff.

So undersheriff Woo actually took the time to call me personally a few moments ago to respond to my email asking about his second amendment stance as well as CCW issuance. He assured me that his views on the second amendment and CCW issuance criteria are “lockstep” with Sheriff Bells. Specifically that self defense alone is good cause. We talked briefly about other issues and I got a good feeling that he is trying to keep Placer county from turning into the bay.

A second Placer County Sheriff’s official threw his hat in the ring Monday in the run for Placer Sheriff.

Brandon Bean, a 42-year resident of Placer County, currently serves as an administrative sergeant with the Sheriff’s Office and has served as Placer County law enforcement for 22 years.

I will be voting for Woo.

Bean also appears to be CCW friendly, but Woo will get my vote.

Both of these guys look like great folks and I'd feel good about either one.

I’ve worked with both of these guys and either one would serve our County well. There’s no wrong choice with either candidate.

I hope either will continue to run the same policy as the past. We moved up here because of the conservative values nearly two decades ago.

Woo has won the race. Both candidates were solid but there can only be one winner.
