While you're there vote "No" on Net Neutrality, too.

Big deal. But do gun owners actually vote at the REAL polls, for REAL elections where it actually counts beyond tracking eyeballs to ads on a meaningless, nearly unknown web-page that will be all forgotten the next day and have little to no impact?

Apparently not. Not in the slightest. Apathetic gun owners are too damned lazy to turn off their TV or computer, to get their butts to the REAL voting polls, or simply too stupid to even do it by mail-in.

We had the chance to oust Kamala Harris or Gavin Newsom - among other important opportunities, and gun owners sat on their hands. Yet all I've seen over the past several days is references to Kamala Harris in every other thread about how horrible she is (and she is - but nobody does anything about it when given the chance).

            Proof:

The Worst Voter Turnout in 72 Years - New York Times - NOV. 11, 2014

            http://www.nytimes.com/2014/11/12/op...ears.html?_r=0

The abysmally low turnout in last week’s midterm elections — the lowest in more than seven decades — was bad for Democrats, but it was even worse for democracy. In 43 states, less than half the eligible population bothered to vote, and no state broke 60 percent.

In the three largest states — California, Texas and New York — less than a third of the eligible population voted. New York’s turnout was a shameful 28.8 percent, the fourth-lowest in the country, despite three statewide races (including the governor) and 27 House races.

(More at the link - if you even care)

Disgusting. Oh, but get an online poll - OHHH!!!! MYYYYY!! GAAAWDDDD!!!! YOU'VE GOT TO DO THIS!!

Go ahead - commence with the lame excuses, reasons, justification, kvetching, hicupps, etc.

If some level of government had that information, what would they do with it? How would having that info benefit public safety? How would it benefit law enforcement?

Nope, the sad fact that over 630,000 LA County GOP residents didn't bother to vote pretty much shows that voter apathy runs deep. And these are the same people who complain that nothing is changing.
