    Election results Orange County

Good results in the election in Orange County a democrat state senator was replaced with an NRA endorsed republican and a democrat state assembly person was replaced with a pro gun republican. Sorry democrats no super majority for you in the state legislature and it was not close in either race.

Correa was actually one of the few pro-gun Democrats in the Senate (I recall him voting no on all of the bad bills the last couple of years). But it is good that he has been replaced by a pro-gun Republican in Nguyen, especially with her opponent Solorio being a Brady-endorsed anti.

I don't know much about Michelle Steel, but she won the Supervisor seat running against a very pro-gun candidate in the form of Alan Mansoor.

That was one of those rare instances in this state where the open primary gave us two Republicans in the general election. From what I have heard of Steel, she tows the party line pretty reliably.

Correa was a good guy one of the few democrats worth a crap. he was locked out by Don Perrata on budget issues some years ago. and that makes him a good guy in my book.

good thing Solorio was defeated he has a F rating from the NRA

Correa IIRC had a A- from the NRA.

Thank your neighbor and fellow gun owners for passing Prop 63. For that gun control is a winning legislative agenda.

Let us hope that these new lawmakers remember that their predecessors were fired for not doing the will of the people. At lest the Dems do not have a super majority and can not simply ride roughshod over the legislature.
