NRA wins battle in House, but might not get to fight in Senate

    *sigh*

    Lets hope its not so.

Look at the tyranny of party -- at what is called party allegiance, party loyalty -- a snare invented by designing men for selfish purposes -- and which turns voters into chattles, slaves, rabbits, and all the while their masters, and they themselves are shouting rubbish about liberty, independence, freedom of opinion, freedom of speech, honestly unconscious of the fantastic contradiction... Feinstein said she'll block it. Hopefully the good guys can beat her move and force a vote before the election.

This in some ways is less about DC - cuz that can be fixed in courts again if necessary, esp if they don't wanna pay more $$$ to Gura - than about holding politicians accountable and making them dance - and ensuring gunnies come out to vote for local matters as well.

This may effect some close elections.
