I agree, there is no need for name calling.

This is a joke, right? How could a part-time ("mommy track" were the words I think you once used) employee with kids sleep in the office even one night unless she had some huge legal deadline coming up. And I just don't see her caring about Heller that much. There are so many laws to harass honest citizens in all aspects of life that no bureaucrat ever has too much to worry about.

Now speaking of sleeping in the office, I saw an interview of Jeff Tedford where he said he spends only one night a week at home during football season. That is truly hardcore.

Sounds like Allison needs a hug. Anyone want to go to Sacto to give Allison a Calguns group hug. I just don't know what to wear? Would UOC be appropriate?
too bad she had such a bad day...

That may have been a temporary condition and she may be back to full time.

She's a true believer on gun control and saw the writing on the wall - all her work is going down the drain.

No I did not say she slept - I just meant she spent her full 8 for 3 days locked away incommunicado, that's all.

Ahhh, that's the impression I got too, that she locked herself in her office for 72 hrs.

If so, a room at a psychiatric hospital is by far a better place for her than a government office. Liberal, female, government worker, or whatever is not an excuse or acceptable rationale for being anti 2A--ignorance in a profession that readily provides information to the contrary makes it inexcusable. Why is it that such are allowed at a place that makes policies on firearms? I don't see any militant vegetarians put in charge of meat at the USDA or agorophobes recruited for the Forest Service or Jehovah's witnesses running a blood bank.

In many cases there is little difference between a psychiatric hospital and a government office.

An institution is defined by the people in it after all....

Both are an adaptation of Bentham's Pan Optic Carcerial system.

This is too true. Anyone who's ever worked for or with a municipal/state/fed government or done any time working for a CSU or UC school can attest to this. The only difference is that the psychiatric hospital has sane administration; in the pubic sector the patients run the place.
