New handgun added to the roster

A new gun was added today to the roster - a Bond Arms derringer.

    http://http://oag.ca.gov/sites/oag.c...entlyadded.pdf

I thought any new handgun would require a micro stamp.

I thought any new semi-auto handgun would require a micro stamp.

On that subject, I've told everyone I know, "If you buy a gun that does micro-stamping, you AINT my friend no more!"

Seriously, if there was ever a market that needed boycotting, microstamp and "intelligent" guns was IT.

What are you talking about, their products are so good they boycott themselves. Ever see anyone run to the store to buy the new smart gun that came out? See just my point. The raddest new tech comes pre-boycotted with no charge to you!

Guns should only be surrendered one bullet at a time.

I've been hoping for a Bond Arms to show up on the roster. That model isn't even on their website yet.

Interestingly enough, in a conversation I had with the owner/CEO of Bond arms at SHOT several years ago, he said he would NEVER submit to testing for CA's Roster, would never set foot in CA, and never sell his guns in or to CA - and California could fall in the ocean for all he cared. Several other choice things about Californians were also mumbled along with some incredibly off-minded/off-color ramblings.

All that was of course trumped minutes later after his discovery of my CA lot in life, followed even faster by him stating he would love to get his guns into a Hollywood movie or TV show, and asked if I could help him make connections in Hollywood - that's Hollywood, California - not Hollywood, Florida.

If some level of government had that information, what would they do with it? How would having that info benefit public safety? How would it benefit law enforcement?

Again, only new SEMIAUTOMATIC PISTOLS require microstamping to be Rostered.

                      Derringers are not semiautos.

I am glad Bond Arms is supporting California (esp in relation to CCW)

If all the other barrels, accessories and what all can be fitted, then is just great!
