In other words, you would be dead before you could get to your car, load your weapon and return to the firefight to defend your stranded wife, kids, or yourself, God forbid. Still, the LA Times seems to think that Governor Brown actually signed the outright open carry ban, so the courts would intervene. If so, his intent was actually to give law abiding gun owners their enshrined right to keep and bear arms back from the jaws of defeat by using legal judo, as it were. The Times article even goes so far as to suggest that Brown was “teeing up” a win on concealed carry. Henry Winkler, a non partisan firearms expert suggests that:

“Gun control advocates have no one but themselves to blame for this ruling. You have to give someone some option to carry a gun.” 1
Hmmm. I didn't know the "Fonz". Was a gun rights specialist.

I think it's great there are so many that want to be active in 2A rights.

However, I must say, if you're going to do this as a lawyer, wouldn't it be prudent to identify your source properly? Jeezus

Your site has him listed as Henry Winkler.

I copied and pasted it from your site unless you already corrected it.

Ya, you fixed it. At least thank me for pointing it out for you.

Otherwise your credibility as a lawyer is not so high.

I don't practice 2 Am law regulary, I only advocate it, and most of you guys know way more than me. Fact. THANK YOU BIG TIME. And if there are further edits to be made, sources, grammar errors, I want to know, so I can make this article the best there is on the topic to share with the Sheeple.

No problem and glad to help.

Just a suggestion, while I understand the use of the word "sheeple". I wouldn't recommend its use by a practicing attorney. You may have to represent a sheeples gun rights some day. Or chase their ambulance.

^^ Yes I know. I just like using descriptive terms and am very selective about the cases I take. I am just having fun in use of this pejorative in any event. Glad to be learning and trying to help my friends at Calguns.
