"Authorities say the law will strengthen protections for personal information. But it also is likely to curtail the Internet's status as a forum to complain about the government or publicize corruption." Sheesh Calgunners the commies only want to register people before they comment!
Must be nice for a leftist govt to exist without that pesky 1 st amendment .Last edited by ja308; 02-18-2014, 9:02 AM. -
What in the world are you talking about?!? Nothing of this sort has passed. Stop spreading the fear you jack@$$ seriously. They're not out to get us.I own lots of guns for my age...because why not?Comment

But they are out to get us, that is what I am told every single day since Obama took office. It seems prior to Obama they weren't out to get us, but now they are.

Same internet censorship thing earlier this month in Turkey. Protests turned into riots.
Turkish President denied accusations of censorship, saying the legislation would make the internet "more safe and free".Comment

I don't see something like this too far off in our future here. Think about how the statist freaks will spin the purported benefits of mandating everyone "sign in" to use their internet. Furthermore, think about the kind of data-mining government spooks can do when you have your entire account history consolidated under one login and thus you are responsible for it. If I was a power freak, this is exactly what I was demand on my population. Expect it in 10 years or less. $.02Comment

In a state where corruption abounds, laws must be very numerous.

Tyranny is defined as that which is legal for the government but illegal for the citizenry.

What Constitution are you reading?
Seems like 2A to me, "tightened gun controls Friday with approval of a law that requires users to register their guns after a flood of online complaints about public safety rattled Political Party leaders."
"Authorities say the law will strengthen protections for personal safety."Gov offical blowing smoke at us about a right?
Yes we have registration in CA, unfortunately! Nv is a free state.Last edited by majtom94; 02-19-2014, 6:33 PM."Do Democrats even realize that they are making more people buy more guns?"

The US .gov already knows what you're doing on the interwebs, they don't need you to "sign-in".There is no week nor day nor hour, when tyranny may not enter upon this country, if the people lose their supreme confidence in themselves -- and lose their roughness and spirit of defiance -- Tyranny may always enter -- there is no charm, no bar against it -- the only bar against it is a large resolute breed of men.
