Desert Eagle is a .50AE, not .50BMG Completely different round. But no, you couldn't buy it because it didn't pass the falling safety test. I think you can buy a .44 Mag Desert Eagle and then buy the .50 conversion kit.

It wasn't tested or it failed the test?

You can buy all the 50AE Desert Eagles you want if you can find them for sale on consignment or by private party transfer through a dealer.

non-approved or non-listed handguns can be transfered between individuals through the private party transfer using an FFL.

It's just that FFLs can't, through their license/shop, sell a gun that is not on the approval list. A private party transfer is not an FFL direct sale involving a gun from the FFL's inventory.

Every single one of my N-frame S&Ws that I have bought over the past 4 years have been discontinued models not on the approval list, the Desert Eagle 50 is in there with them as far as how you go about aquiring one in the state.

              For your reference.

50AE is barely the size of bullet of 50BMG.
'Cuz big holes are easier to see.

I welcome it. How else would I learn.
