Looking for recent post of documents RE: OLL, etc

    All,

I'm trying (in vain) to find a post that I know I've seen in recent weeks. Simply put, it was a series of text documents someone had put together to keep with his personal guns while at the range in case a poorly informed LEO starts asking questions. Best as I can recall, it was multiple pages of well organized text, citing both direct quotes from the Penal code, court case records, with summations in "clear" english/simple terms explaining what all the legal gobbly-gook says. The document as a whole explained in a linear fashion why a particular rifle is legal, covering each point of AW law, 922r, legal length, etc.

I know somebody is just itching to pull out the emoticon, unfortunatly, my Search-Fu has been thwarted by the fact that the search terms I need to use are kind of the key buzz-words of the whole sub-forum. I get scads of hits, none are correct.

And yes, I'm aware of the AW flow chart, and respect its value. I'd just like to have something that tears a bit more into the meat of the matter.

I know its a bit of a long shot, but does anyone remember this post?

    Thanks!

There's one more letter from Lockyer to Schwarzenegger talking about OLL's but I can't find the link.

I also carry these when I transport:

Just my 2c, but if a LEO wants to arrest you, it is unlikely that he/she is going to read a 14 page document trying to explain the law to him/her.

This document makes more sense when it is used to educate LEOs beforehand.

Both are excellent links, but they are also generic. I keep finding lots of old posts where they list links to lots of disassociated information. Was hoping to find something a bit more cohesive. The cop memo is particularly good. And the pictures fleegman just posted in his post -may- be what I thought I'd seen. Very specific information about a particular rifle. I'm hoping to pool it together in a similar method for my small collection of California legal rifles.

I want to have a "simple" section for the LEO who can't be bothered to sift thru reams of documents at the range or a traffic stop, and a "complete" section with the actual code sections, etc.

          Thanks guys!
