sigpicOriginally posted by gun toting monkeyboyYou did ask. They were only following your instructions. Next time be a bit more careful in how you phrase your posts. If you give people a straight line like that, this is about the level of response you are bound to get. Just be glad you didn't post "Date this rifle"... Those pictures are usually very disturbing.

Their response would be 'the 2A applies to a 'state regulated milita'.

WTB: multiautomatic ghost gun with a .30-caliber clip to disperse with 30 bullets within half a second. Must include shoulder thing that goes up.

I'd throw it right back at them:
1) What "state militia" would that be? You don't mean the National Guard which is federally funded, federally-trained, and occupies federal land, do you?
2). Heller vs DC and McDonald vs Chicago have already settled that. The 2nd means exactly what it says, and while you're entitled to your opinion, in the legal realm that part of the discussion is over.Comment

But.. but... how about the children?
Joking aside... Liberals have a special selective sense of logic. They love freedom of speech but hate right to bear arms. They promote illegal immigration but try to criminalize law-abiding CITIZENS. They preach tolerance and unity.... BUT ONLY if you compromise on your own beliefs and not theirs.sigpic

Technology has advanced. The Bill Of Rights was written knowing that would happen. That's why free speech and privacy apply to the internet and not just your snail mail.
If you want to get granular, the wording isn't even specific to firearms. It is open enough from sticks, to spears to lasers and wherever science takes us.
Arms comes from Old French armes, from Latin arma. It meant then what it means now as far as I can make out.Host of the FAST OC podcast.Comment
