I think that's the flaw of the law. You can't buy "Upgrade" or "Mod" Kits that would allow you to turn a 10rnd mag into a +10rnd mag. A Kit is a combination of parts. Individual parts do not constitute a kit.

I thought CTD doesn't ship much of anything to California?

A "kit" is also a "device" (which is not defined). Since creative minds may see a single part as a "device", I'm thinking a judge will have to sort out the meaning of "device".

I think the question should be, what is a large capacity magazine? Are there small capacity magazines and standard capacity magazines? Where is large defined and if defined is that within "Currently in common use"?

It's my thought (mho) that the courts will find that capacity can't be regulated, it's an infringement.

            No. These are individual parts.

            Get off it.

(Not that I would buy anything from those chumps "Cheaper Than Dirt" anyway.)

If some level of government had that information, what would they do with it? How would having that info benefit public safety? How would it benefit law enforcement?

after the 2000 'standard' cap assault weapons ban CTD would still ship hi caps to CA. They stated it was up to us to follow our California laws. Not sure how long it took them to change that policy.

Leave it to CTD to advertise Hi-Cap followers and/or baseplates since there is no such thing. OP - Did they actually advertise as such? I refuse to even visit there website to verify.

The funny part is they still will not ship a pistol grip saying its illegal, when there is no such law saying it is, yet will ship a LCM part which can be / is listed as illegal in a law.

At one time CTD was a good online source. That time has passed....
