Question on High Cap Glock Magazine
Collapse

THIS!OK.
Here is how I see it.
If You bought a Glock 17 in 1995 ( I got mine issued to me in 1994)
I assume that You are about 40+ years old.
A 40 year old with a Glock 17 and some Glock magazines made in the 90's will not raise any questions.
A 40 year old with a Ruger Mini 14 and a dozen of 20rd and 30rd Ruger magazines will not raise any questions either.
REGARDLESS OF HOW OR WHEN THEY GOT THEM.
UNLESS IT CAN BE PROVEN THAT THEY WERE OBTAINED ILLEGALLY .
Also , someone would have to WANT to prove that.
When I go to a public range and see a guy in His 40's shooting His Browning Hi Power , I almost expect Him to have original 13rd magazines with it .
Before becoming an an LEO over 20 years ago , I owned all kinds of guns and I still have all kinds of magazines from that time.
Those magazines from the 80's will look the same if they were bought in the 80's...... or yesterday.
If You have a Glock that You bought in 1995 and few 10+ magazines with it , I dont see any issues.
A 23 years old with an FN45 and a bunch of 15rd magazines (that they REBUILD from something that was not even made before 2000 or they FOUND them) and a Gen 4 G22 with a bunch of 22RD magazines ( that were first made less than 2 years ago ) is LITTLE different....
Hope this helps
