The show 30 Days is on now in SF, channel 36 cable & they've just started their "Gun/Gun Control" episode.

She blames the gun, not the scumbag who "sprayed" her friend. She lives in a crime ridden area, and thinks the police will be able to protect her?

I had to wonder, she kept saying "who are you protecting yourself from?" I yelled at teh TV "FROM THE SCUMBAGS WHO SHOT UP YOUR FRIEND YOU MORON!"

She says the "honor" system is not good enough, while she was observing the old 4473 being filled out, but she doesn't get that NICS serve as a "check" against what the gun buyer has basically swore to NOT being a felon, and with the recently enacted law, mentally ill. The form is basically there to serve as evidence of a (stupid) bad guy knowingly attempt to buy a firearm.
