      They only way i can this as being lawful is if they didn't take the whole magazine. say for instance if you had a pmag and they stole the body but didn't take the dust cover. I leave my dust covers for my pmags at home just in case "someone" declares my legal pmags a nuisance, well i still have a parts left to rebuild my pmag back to completion.
