Perhaps first you should understand the difference between liberal and libertarian and only then making offensive statements like above?

Don't worry its for the children.... I'm so confused by our new world we live in. Take guns and scary looking things away from law abiding people and then let 10k felons go from prison. Yup its for the children.

Maybe the 10k will make up the new Stasi. I mean felons won't have any problems hurting law abiding citizens. *tin foil sarcasm*

But any savings won't be applied to balancing the budget. It will just blown on something else.

I think there are some members of this forum who do not understand how the criminal justice system works in California. Most "convictions" are actually plea deals. It is extremely common for defendants to plead to lesser crimes when faced with multiple charges. Typically defendants try to avoid violent crime convictions.

So when people talk about "non-violent" offenders being released, it is important to remember that "non-violent" applies only to the legal charges for which they served time and not their suspected or actual behavior.

Make no mistake, most of the people being prematurely released from prison are not nice people.

IANAL nor do I work in the criminal justice system, this information was given to me by the DA of Riverside County. I assume he knows what he is talking about.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

It's a hurtful avatar, because there is a ring of truth in both. I agree of the major parties, the Republicans register as less harmful, but less harmful doesn't make it good. Social policies from the Reeps are part of what's holding the party back.

On topic, I'd rather release non-violent criminals to make room for violent criminals than raise taxes to pay for new jails. I say this knowing full well lowering spending in other areas to pay for jails is not happening. If they screw up the releases, like I would expect, and let violent criminals out, the question becomes is the state squandering more of your money worth the safety of new or larger jails.

Showing the GOP elephant with a nazi symbol is wrong from every perspective.
The GOP is not pefect, but they are not like nazis in any way what so ever .

I sincerely request you remove it, now

In the event you disagree, please post all the similar aspects you perceive .
I am prepared to post several pages proving you are wrong beginning with important, influential democrats supporting Hitler .

I do agree its nice to have a choice and I am proud of so many republican states that have advanced RKBA and many fiscal policies I approve .
