McCain a shoe in if Hiliray stays?

The system as it is now is basically a vote for the lesser of to evils system, and they always say that green party votes are a waste because the take away from the Dem/Rep party. If Hiliray stays in to the bitter end, will she effectively take enough votes away from Obama that neither Hiliray nor Obama have a chance?

I'm not trying to say anyone's better/more deserving to win, just wondering what's going to happen if the Dem's have two on the ballot.

Have you not been watching the news today? Hillary is throwing in the towel and bowing down to Barack for the Dems.

No, last I heard, she didn't say anything either way.

Come on, you really think she's going to stay in any longer? It's over, she just has to bite her lip and make the stupid speech.

If you think the anti-gun people are bad news, wait til you have to deal with the eco's! The eco-nazi's use any lie they possibly can to achieve their land stealing ways. The eco's make the anti gun crowd seem like the good guys. Green party is a very poor choice..

I think Hillary had a better chance against McCain than Obama. I used to think differently, but watching the primaries changed my mind.

Doesn't matter now. She's done, Obama's it, and he'll carry the California electoral vote unless something ugly comes out between now and November (we can always hope).

If she signs on as his veep, they'll kick McCain's butt, I believe. If she doesn't, I think McCain's got a strong chance against him, with the flyover states making the difference, just like last time.

The essence of Western civilization is the Magna Carta, not the Magna Mac. The fact that non-Westerners may bite into the later has no implications for their accepting the former.

EDIT 2020: To be fair that seems to apply to many Westerners also.

I think were in for some intresting times indeed. I don't think Hillary is going to go out that easy. She's WAY to hungry for the power. I hope it's not out of place to say but I wouldn't put past a Clinton to take him out. I really hope it doesn't go that way but I wouldn't be the least bit suprised.

                      Obama has the nominationsewn up.

The only thing Hillary is doing now is trying vor the veep slot and trying to figure out how to get her campaign debts paid. My SO was a rabid Hillary supporter and now sees her in a cabinet post.

That is EXACTLY how it's going to play out, no doubt in my mind.

So basically, a vote for McCain is a wasted vote. At least here in this state. Voting for McCain is just as pointless and silly as voting for Ron Paul was, in the primary. (As you can tell, I'm really enjoying pointing out this irony to all of the so-called-conservative RP-haters on this board who, in November, will be in the same boat that we were -- wasting your votes).

I really hope the rest of the country can keep Obama out of the White House.

You finally agreeing with the fact that voting RP in primary was silly and pointless?

Well, it didn't feel pointless at the time. Although I suppose it was, in the end.

You'll know how it feels, come November. Might as well stay home if you're voting for McCain.
