The kid needs to sue the police for false arrest and the prosecutor for malicious prosecution. The officer and prosecutor both need to lose their jobs. This is really unbelievably excessive abuse of power.

This story left out some of the details. The obstruction charge was for simply refusing to stop talking while he was being arrested. The prosecutor refused the drop the charges and pressed ahead. When the news started reporting too much for their comfort, they tried to get a gag order, and the judge had the press physically thrown out of the court house (they were two floors away from the court room) and threatened with obstruction (the same charge as the boy). It was only a day later, after all this played out on local TV (the cameras were rolling the whole time), that they backed down and dropped the charges. The kid needs to sue the police for false arrest and the prosecutor for malicious prosecution. The officer and prosecutor both need to lose their jobs. This is really unbelievably excessive abuse of power.

This is what America has devolved into. The cops, the judges, schools officials, the whole ball of wax... they have no moral compass anymore. They have no qualms about openly disregarding the law, no qualms about abusing their power to the max. No qualms about brutally abusing people and throwing them around like rag dolls. No qualms about opening fire at a DUI checkpoint and putting countless lives at risk. Human beings are worthless. They need to be put down like a dirty dog, while you high five and joke about it afterwards.

They did the gag order against the boy, and threatened the reporter with arrest. That was one brave reporter, they deserve a medal.

I feel that the right to face your accuser in court is going to way of the dinosaur very soon, and that when you actually can, it will be under conditions that the judge sets.

This is happening all over America, every single day, every where. I know a guy connected to the court system (retired paralegal). Horror stories every day. people lucky to be alive. Massive abuses of power. Basic human rights brutally violated every single day. This is real folks, it is completely out of control at all levels. We are 10 yeas past due for an armed revolt.

The only language that government understands, is it's own: violence.
