    need advice, moving to Cal.

hi folks, I'm moving to california, and would like to transport the bulk of my mostly C&R collection in a rental truck, driving myself. I know not to bring any prohibited firearms, or any magazines over ten in capacity. I don't plan to bring any pistols at all.

my question: is there any problem with carrying in a very large collection this way? could I get hassled at the Agriculture inspection station?

    thanks in advance

Do bring pistols, lots of them so you can sell them to us. Welcome, where are you moving to?

I second that..... there are a lot of handguns that you can't buy in the PRK due to the "safety" issues apparently associated with short guns not approved by the czar. You might want to take a look or some suggestions on what can't be had..... if you didn't want to keep them you could always PPT them and come out well while bringing more handguns into the people's republik.

Do you really have to move to CA?

I will third that but i would rather see the laws change than move.

I would say that the only reason to stay here in Cali is the weather.

Even if all the gun laws got changed overnight you still have rampant socialism, massive illegal immigration, gang problems, high crime rates, whackjob politicians (OK thats everywhere, but even worse here)

I'm sure I could think of more.

Yeah, it's only 100 degrees here, in May.

The people who complain probably haven't lived in truly BAD places in the country...

Riiiiight..... tell the truth now. Good food and good weather if you like to burn.... mild winters. Other than that, what is there? Nice scenery in the areas that aren't overrun? 30 million people? Fighting cars everywhere you go? Overpriced, overtaxed..... tens of thousands of laws?

It's not just about the gun laws.... the entire state is a sinking ship. It was the place to be 20 and 30 years ago, but it's been corrupted and ruined by overpopulation, mass unchecked illegal immigration, and socialist politicians. I used to like the place when I was younger.... nothing left there now.....

That's just silly. Have you ever lived anywhere else?
