This may be a stupid question, but...
Why doesn't equal protection apply to somebody who doesn't have a CA registered AW? If the rest of us were allowed a registered AW, why doesn't equal protection allow somebody else, maybe somebody who was younger and couldn't get one anyway at that time, to buy one and register it. This shouldn't be a 2A issue, but purely a 14A within the state.
