Very moving speech, and not many dry eyes.

It’s nice to know that this country still has women like this!
          sigpicTake not lightly liberty
To have it you must live it
And like love, don't you see
To keep it you must give it

"I will talk with you no more.
I will go now, and fight you."

hard not to tear up listening to her. I know she said he wasn't just a hero, but he was a hero. That sometimes is said too often, but in his case it can't be said enough.

And Obama never attended his funeral or even sent his condolences to his wife.

Maybe because Kyle was everything that Obama isn't and never will be.

Yes I admire Chris Kyle and what he did. But his story hardly helps our case. He did all that as a member of the military. And the anti gun crowd wants the military to have all the guns. And then he killed was at a range by what I assume was a privately owned firearm. I'm sorry by a person with a privtely owned firearm.

I've no doubt he would have been an excellent spokesman for the freedoms he risked his life for and his widow currently is. However lets not get all gaga because the anti gun crowd has no problem with what he did.

No offense or disrespect meant to either him or her because I'm sure he didn't risk his life to see these fascists in kalifornia and DC disarm citizens. And as I've posted other places here obviously the greatest threats to our freedoms aren't coming from 7th century goat herders in timbuktuistan but well dressed and well paid/bribed terrorists in scaramentistan. 10 years later, are we really safer and freer?

War is the life blood of the state. The state is the enemy of liberty. Liberty means opposing the state and war as well.

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

                        Brave woman right there.

Glad the NRA has honored Chris Kyle's memory and got his wife to share a little insight into a true American hero.

Liberals and Progressives were glad Chris Kyle is out of the picture. A war hero, a SEAL and a diehard 2A supporter... a nightmare for "Antis"!!!

When she stumbled in her speech because of the family images on the screen,
your heart goes out to her, as did the audiences.

She did well, all things considered.

I'm not sure how accurate it is, but shortly after Chris Kyle's murder, an arfcom member from Texas claimed that one of his relatives heard from one of Eddie Routh's relatives that ER had, against his family's wishes, been released from a mental health clinic not long before he murdered Chris Kyle and the other man. If true, Chris Kyle's death can be blamed on a failure of the mental healthcare system, and not on lax gun laws.
