CA to now allow (limited) confiscation

I just got this emailed to me by a relative out of state that bothered me so much I decided to register just to be able to post the information regarding this heinous law:

I do hope I put this in the right forum; I couldn't find anywhere else.

We know of this. Basically it takes money from the DROS slush fund (that is supposed to be used to streamline the backround check process) and reallocates it to going after people who shouldn't have the guns.
There are 3 kinds of people in this world.
The wise, learn from the mistakes of others.
The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
The others, well......they just never learn.

This was already legal and already happening - now they're just taking money from the DROS fees we pay when we buy a gun to expand the program, and generate more horror stories to prop up more gun control efforts.

Ok, good to know that it was already known here. I do quite a bit of reading on this forum and I guess I missed it. Just wanted to keep people informed

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the heads up even though it was already circulating. Better to see it twice then not at all IMO.

It is covered under the SB140 thread.
