Gun Law events in Northern California

Hello everyone I am enrolled in a political science class at Chico State, CA. For my class we were told that we need to pick a policy issue and take a stance. For my issue I picked gun laws. More specifically I took the stance that we do not need stricter gun laws but instead a better mental health system. I am a gun owner and try to go to the range once a week to target shoot I also hunt waterfowl. The current debate in the country about increased gun control has had a large impact on my hobby by making it close to impossible to find ammo and even made ammo reloading supplies disappear.

My question to you guys is…. Do you know of any events happening over the weekend in the Chico/Sacramento area that I can attend? Could include rallies, NRA events, club meetings, anything gun law related.

As many gun shops and FFL's as we have in just in the city of Eureka alone, I'm surprised there isnt some kind of action up here in Humboldt County. There is plenty of information posted and available for pickup at the local gun shops in town to educated the locals about the current proposed anti gun legislation. Alas, no rallies though.
