Response from my local CA Assemblywoman Diane Harkey

I sent a letter about 10 days ago to Assemblywoman Diane Harkey, 73rd District and got this response expressing support of 2A. Time will tell how she actually votes.

She was my Assembly person until last year (they re-districted us). She is a stand up member of the Assembly! Now I have Rocky Chavez. So far, he appears to be a stand-up Assembly Member too!

Do not forget to send as many letters when the bill is OFF the table as when you did when the bill was ON the table. Good voting patterns need to be commended and rewarded with the same intensity as we send mail to get them to act.

We must let them know we still support them even after we get what we want!

You're lucky. I have Connie Conway. A supposed Republican that is representing a 76% Republican area. She just voted with the Democrats to hijack the DROS funds. I sent her an email and haven't even heard back...

                I H8 RINOS!
Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

The U.S. city with the most restrictive gun laws in the nation, Washington, D.C., has the highest murder rate at 24 per 100,000.
The state with the most unrestrictive gun regulations, Vermont, has the lowest murder rate at 0.48 per 100,000.

You might want to respond and find out why she voted for SB 140 then.

Sure, but I may give her just this one chance, since the state is broke and I see this as a money grabbing effort. If it were the state pension fund they pilfered, we likely wouldn't care.

Now whats to stop them from just raising the "tax" on firearms like they always do on cigarettes just to get more money now? The DROS fees were meant to ONLY cover the cost of the paperwork and background check, not for other pet projects.
