To those who say door to door confiscation won't happen, ANYTHING is possible with a government that ignores it's own Constitution and creates a 2 tiered system where all men are created equal but some are more equal than others.

No one thought that the U.S. would "bail out too big to fail" institutions to the tune of $23.7 TRILLION (estimated by Bloomberg) and a quantitative easing infinity of $85 BILLION per month by the Federal Reserve into bonds and buying back the fraudulent mortgage backed securities. Yet, no one in the U.S. has gone to prison over the greatest financial crime in global history.

No one would have dreamed that free speech zones, interrogations using torture, indefinite detention and extra judicial assassinations decided by the president would become policy in this country.

Are you still so sure "it will never happen here"?

If they had crept out there in the dead of night and done it, some of them would have gotten away with it, but others would have been caught and arrested, and in the end it would have achieved nothing. I'm not saying that it would be prudent to announce one's intention to do so here, but the time may come when gun owners will have to engage in similar tactics.
I agree with you wholeheartedly. Now is not the time to start threads like these to announce to the Antis our motives. It's still too early for that. Once it is on our doorstep, we should organize some form of protest. Threads like this accomplish nothing.

Actually, guys like Yee, Steinberg, Feuer, etc., would like that....although Yee would like it best if you were a 10 year old boy. That conforms with their ideas of "family values" that they want taught in the schools.

Being a law abiding citizen, of course I will register my guns (and my Bible & any other books I possess) - when our ruling Democrats register their kiddie porn and copies of "The Communist Manifesto".
