With gun owners about to get screwed in this stupid state, where is the anger and out cry?!?! Seems gun owners are sitting back and getting ready to take it. All I hear is posts like "it will happen and there is nothing we can do about it" and "there is no hope, lets give up type BS". WTF!

There are enough bills and enough bad stuff that we don't have time to waste breath and energy on anything that isn't effective. There are gears turning. I maintain a glass half empty perspective but I am willing to work those gears and give them a chance to work even if I can predict the outcome.

Your right G21, People are to caught up in xbox , play station ammo collecting etc.

People need to get and stay active.

Its sad to see even long time CalGunners saying relax that nothing is going to happen, its going to SCOTUS, This is the problem and why CA is so screwed up from top to bottom. I am sorry to say it but to many people with no back bone and want everyone to do all the fighting got them.

I joined the NRA right after the Newtown shooting and still haven't received anything. I write my reps about gun bills and get the generic response. What else should I do to prove that no one is interested in anything I have to say?

If you were married to me you would hear the anger all of the time.

My anger is directed towards my elected officials, by sending them respectful letters disagreeing with their views. I also focus my anger by sending money to pro-2A groups.

Pretty sad but true, we had a 2A rally about 2 Monnths ago in Hintington Beach far from Sacramento and you would think we would have a big turn out Wrong. 20-maybe 30 CalGunners. And even worse no official cal gun reps. Rally was posted and bumped almost daily for over a Month. The majority may be lazy in CA or just don't care but the few of us will still keep the fight alive.'

No worries. Just wait until some dad who bought a marlin 60 at big5 several years ago gets arrested for having an unregistered assault weapon after taking his son to the range. Then the real backlash will begin when millions of "they're not after my guns..." wake the f*** up. And even many not owners will realize how extreme the laws are
