Universal background checks commercial sales only???

I just heard on fox news that the proposed Universal background checks will only cover commercial sales only...and not PPT. Is this true?

So this basically means that FTF/PPT sales in NV would still be allowed?

When they said the legislation would not cover private party sales they said to "family members" So I'm wondering if it's going to regulate PPT to some point. Like allowing for PPT to family but not just anyone.

    What have you guys heard?

To them, you're just a plain old sappy idiot, and probably a lib'rul who smokes salvia while driving.

      This may be helpful:

pursuant to an advertisement, posting, display or other listing on the Internet or in a publication by the transferor of his intent to transfer, or the transferee of his intent to acquire, the firearm.

I read in an article (can't remember where) that it exempts sales to "family members, friends, and neighbors". It seems like it's geared for that gunshow loophole unicorn, in that if you're selling weapons that are advertised or sold as part of a business that the check is then required. It's really hard to tell what's accurate and what's not, because this bill hasn't had the depth of coverage that the AWB had.

I also read something else interesting that says the records would have to be maintained (a process that's already in place now). But to my knowledge, the Brady Bill requires that the federal background check paperwork be destroyed after 24 hours.... so... wtf?
