This man understands something that many of us do not. You really don't appreciate the freedoms that you have until you lose them. Too many in the US have grown complacent and are far too fast to give all of their freedoms to the government in the name of "security".

The problem is that men who desire power are corrupt. Those in power will ALWAYS go as far as they are allowed to go. If there is no check on the power of the government by the people themselves, we will eventually end up like all of the other totalitarian states.

I'm not saying tomorrow, but there is an insidious, gradual creep. It is intentional because any moves that are too overt would result in a backlash. It appears that the government felt that it had that "mandate" to rush head long into "gun control" (ie. finally getting those pesky peasants disarmed). That might have been their grave miscalculation. We'll see if people take notice, or if they just go back to wathing American Idol.

I suspect the Poles at Katyn Forest would have a similar testimony.

But theirs is the silence of the tens of millions in the mass graves that are the hideous footprint of tyranny. Orwell's use of a boot in his vision of the future is an apt one.

Oldest communist trick in the book , disarm victims, murder them and then blame them for standing in the way.
I just started the book "Bringing down America" featuring terrorist Bill Ayers and company.

Sure must be nice to be honored for blowing up buildings and murder ! I want a puke the way media and govt cover for these communists

Thats the problem these gun grabbers have no idea of what it is like to live in a society where only the government has weapons and the people have no means to protect themselves from the government.

Communist Russia, Communist China, Cambodia under Pol-Pot, Hitlers Germany and the rest of Europe under Nazi occupation and the tribal conflicts in many African nations where you have armed militia running around and butchering the civilian population all because they are too poor to arm and defend themselves.

Hell all we have to do is look just south of the boarder to see how well gun control works. Cartels have bettter weapons than the military and are being supplied by the U.S.!
