How many of these laws are ACTUALLY expected to pass?

How many of the laws in this article do people actually expect to pass? http://www.ammoland.com/2013/03/cali...#axzz2PohiyFn2 I don't think the law about the grandfathering being outlawed will make it, but I have serious fears of some of the other ones being enacted. Also, when would these take effect? The beginning of 2014?

    See http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=701762

First clear indication of 'which ones might pass' will be in May, when the bills must go to the other house after clearing their house where introduced.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

I read somewhere that citizens in CA can mount their own filibuster in the CA legislature. If so, this year might be a good year to do it.

          We need more details.

I for one, would be glad to contribute cash to help folks out with expenses if they have the time to actually do this.

In this (and only this, lol) instance, I'm a cheap date.... that is, give me an MRE (or 10) and $30 for gas and I will be there in a in under an hour.... 10 MREs is 5 days of sedentary filibustering IMO. My brother (fellow CGer) I'm sure would attend as well. If I can swing it, I will do it on my dime if need be. Further details please...

Should there be lawsuits after these bills passed, how did AB962 go through a speedy trial and declared unconstitutional while the other cases have been put on hold?

The reason the antis fling so many poorly written, half thought out, anti-gun bills out there is that any of them could pass, and we are forced to spend time, effort, and money fighting all of them.

This wastes a lot of our time, effort, and money.

This is why we need to go on the offensive, and introduce our own legislation.
We should be sending up bills that guarantee 2A rights for lawful citizens, bills that repeal things like the AWB and magazine caps, bills that make it illegal to charge citizens a fee for exercising their 2A rights (no DROS fees, background check fees, registration fees, etc.), bills that create "shall issue" CCW, bills that make firearms, ammunition, and reloading supplies exempt from state sales taxes, bills that give a tax credit to gun owners who can prove that they regularly practice with their firearms, bills that grant a cash bounty to householders who detain for arrest or who kill dangerous criminals while defending themselves against crime (bounty size in proportion to the criminal record of the criminal), and then start a non-stop flow of bills that make it a capital offense for any legislator to create a bill that would infringe on the 2A rights of law abiding citizens.

I read one of the comments on the page. We the people need to give these politicians a good old filibuster. Since there is no time limit. Imagine if we could get all 3 million gun owners in the state to give their two minutes.

962 was chaptered 10/11/2009. It had an implementation date in the law - "Commencing February 1, 2011"

The complaint was filed June 17, 2010 - 8 months after signing.

Jan 24, 2011 the Fresno Superior (State of CA) court issued a permanent injunction order - just ahead of the implementation date. I guess 15 months from signing, 7 months from the complaint, does look speedy.

Don't want to jump all over you .30-06, but seriously, you don't respond, clarify, defend or retract your statements over in the other thread http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=739235. Then you come back wanting more of our "opinions" on an even broader issue???!!! What gives, what's your aim?

Ready_eSeVe, I had followed that thread smh wondering how someone could show compassion for the 2nd and then do a dance as he did on that topic, then evade any discussion. He just ignored everyone. Extreme disrespect.
