Selling/shipping gun 'parts' out of the country?

I have an M60 bipod (from a Cobb FA(t) BMG 50 that I upgraded the bipod on) that I put up for auction on gunbroker.com. I just got an email from a guy asking if I would be willing to ship to Taiwan?

Does anyone know if there is any issue with shipping something like this to Taiwan??

    Thanks

You need to check the US export restrictions for firearm parts for the individual country. Then you need to find out the import restrictions for the country also.

The other concern would be getting legitimate payment from overseas.

It would be illegal. Taiwan is on the US export restriction list for any firearm part, let alone a military firearm item.

Correct. Within the last year or so, they've really clamped down on what you can export. Firearm parts are no longer legally exportable.
