What happens when the anti-2A camp becomes desperate?

Should AW, Universal Registration and other bills fail to become law (please, God), what then happens when the anti-2A camp (led by Mr. Obama) becomes desperate?

I'm sure we've all considered what we would individually do if we were faced by draconian, unconstitutional laws -- say we lived in NY for instance. What will the anti-2A camp if they are complete losers at the federal level?

The reason I ask is that I have long believed individuals and groups become most dangerous when they become desperate.

They will win at the state levels -- enough to make gun owning confusing and terrifying -- new buyers will dry up -- and EVERY session of every congress or senate they will props new laws. Everyone. They believe with the blood of Newtown (ON THEIR HANDS< for "GUN FREE ZONES) still fresh in people's minds this is no longer a losing political ball for them. We'll see in 2014 -- each and any anti-gun candidates who beat pro-2A candidates will embolden them. Our ONLY REAL hope of turning this around?
Get those 100 million gun owners OUT TO VOTE.
    VOTE!!!

Doesn't that also apply to gun owners and pro-gun groups?

      Just a thought.

they are not desperate at this time they are emboldened by the death of children at the hands of F*********************** POS. they will use their deaths for all it's worth regardless of the people affected they want to disarm us period. it's been leaked all over the internet from NY to this state. make no illusion they will milk that tragedy for all it's worth no matter what. they will use the parents of those children to pull at the heart strings of parents all over the country.

get used to it again as it was in the 90's being berated and belittled by politicians for owning firearms for any purpose. they have zero respect for our rights and we know it too bad the rest of America a no clue to what the end game is.

Thank your neighbor and fellow gun owners for passing Prop 63. For that gun control is a winning legislative agenda.

They will drive around town looking for supporters, showing how cool it is to live in a socialist banana republic, sipping lattes on other peoples money............

They will get stupid and turn on each other.

First you have to look at who makes up the anti-rights camp.

There are the leaders and their are the "drones".

The leaders will publically unite while they jockey for power behind each other's back. What is going on in Illonis is a glipse of the future.

The "drones" will cry like lost sheep, maybe they will have prayer and candlelight vigils because that is a very effective way to change the consciousness of our country.

Some "Drones" may do stupid things, I won't post suggestions. Considering many of them are on psych meds, they are "open" to doing things normal people wouldn't.

I don't see the anti's as desperate. Read these forums, we're the ones feeling desperate because every day we lose more and more.

If the Anti 2A clan becomes desperate, we laugh, because we have the guns and the anti 2A folks do not have the votes.

Our progress is not measured in days or weeks but months and years. Politicians propose and pass feel-good legislation that increases their chances of being re-elected but that does nothing to address the issues. Politicians operate much faster than the courts but it is in the courts that we will achieve final victory.

Remember it was only a few years ago that the Second Amendment did not apply to the states. We achieved that victory through the courts.

If you perceive a sense of desperation in some members here it isn't because we are losing but because those individuals don't have the benefit of knowing some of the history of the battles that have been fought and won in the courts.

They are desperate. That is why we are seeing the most bizarre laws proposed at the state levels because they know (post Heller) that at the federal level they have lost significant ground and traction. While the new (waiting to be signed) Colorado laws are bad, the NY SAFE Act and proposed laws in CA are downright absurd.

Since they essentially have lost against handguns they are going for the heart of the long guns (semi-autos) and ammunition, that is the definition of desperate.
The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.

Then their desperation would increase exponentially if they were shut-out at the federal level.

It would be interesting to know how this will color their future actions.
