Maybe I'm reading this wrong but is sounds like they will not sell anything to california legal or not. It also sounds like they will not provide any service to those that own one possibly including the lifetime service of the guns. So to buy Wilson combat parts you would have to go through a third party and pay more even for a California approved model. I'm not happy with this as I've had my california approved Wilson on order for over a year.

You're reading it wrong. As a citizen of California, they'll still sell to you. They have placed a moratorium on sales and and sales of services to the government and their agents. Unless that includes you, you're fine and you'll get a fine pistol as soon as it is completed. Regarding warranty work, I assume they'll still honor their warranty; however, they will not SELL product or services to government agencies or their agents in ban states. Make more sense?

Effective: February 28, 2013

Wilson Combat will no longer provide any products or services to any State Government imposing legislation that infringes on the second amendment rights of its law abiding citizens. This includes any Law Enforcement Department, Law Enforcement Officers, or any State Government Entity or Employee of such an entity. This also applies to any local municipality imposing such infringements.

States currently included in our No-Sale Policy are:

California
Hawaii
Maryland
Massachusetts
New Jersey
New York
Washington D.C.
The City of Chicago, Illinois

Wilson Combat will in NO way support the government of these states or their anti-gun agenda that only limits the rights of law-abiding citizens. Wilson Combat will continue to supply any product and/or service they can legally sell in these states to all non-government affiliated citizens.

Not sure how much business WC does with govt agencies and LE. But the popularity of their firearms will be felt by LEOs who wants one of their products.

Well if it came down to protecting my home, I would use my Wilson CQB. What popularity would the CA LEO have? Not their uniformed officers, but their elite tactical squad depts. would have a budget for a Wilson.

I'll preface this by saying I've always liked Wilson Combat and have one of their barrels in my AR. Having said that, it strikes me that there's another state in the union which has recently gone full retard with the gun control bug which seems conspicously absent from that list. Anyone want to guess which it is?
