    Sportsmen for Obama?

    Actually, that's the title of the group to include the "?". I had posted this as part of another thread, the more I bounced around the link the more I thought it would be of interest & make a good point at which to start a separate thread.

    Hmm, kind of reminds me of Chickens for Charcoal and Mosquitoes for Spiders.

      Sure! Who needs a gun to enjoy gun-related sports. Why shoot skeet when you can throw rocks at them. You can't get much more sporting than hunting with rocks and sticks (sticks with hard tips, known as spears, will probably be banned as well). Three gun competition? Even more exciting and sporting with three rocks. Banning guns returns the sporting to the sport. No longer can some old fart that can barely walk out shoot a stronger, younger individual. On the streets it would be survival of the fittest at its best. By Executive Order, Obama could require that street thugs give old people a one block head start before running them down, beating them to a pulp and taking their money.

      You can't get much more sporting than that.

        I saw the youtube video at the end that talks about Obama's "Blueprint For Change." Has anyone read this? Does it address gun control?

        I'm too sickened from having gone to http://www.sportsmenforobama.org/com...page/Itemid,1/ to read it myself.

            From the site;

            Although Obama is proclaimed as a 'new face' in the Democratic party, he parrots the same gun control mantras common to old line Democrats. In fact, he may go publicly further than the average Democrat by advocating for a ban on all semiautomatic firearms.

            Sportsmen should find Barack Obama's stand on gun control to be reprehensible.
            Seems Sportsmen against Obama would be more accurate

                Yeah, I had read that. Anybody willing to plug their nose and wade in the "Blueprint" and tell us what it says about gun control?

                Thanks.
